This is really easy to do, good fun and it doesn\u2019t take long to learn or do. Here&#8217;s our guide to getting started&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why make your own natural perfumes?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list bullet_star imglist\">\n<li>Perfumes available in shops and markets are made with synthetic ingredients that many people are allergic to.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using natural essential oils means you will also get the therapeutic benefits for body, mind and emotions, which you don\u2019t get with synthetic perfumes that use synthetic oils.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perfumes cost a lot of money and making them yourself significantly reduces that price.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can make a fragrance that is uniquely yours, that no-one else has or will ever have: your own signature scent!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you make it, you know what ingredients have been used. A product you can trust.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;It\u2019s great fun, easy to do and it doesn\u2019t take very long.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What kind of natural perfumes can you make?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list bullet_star imglist\">\n<li><a href=\"\/natural-oil-based-perfumes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Solid oil-based perfumes<\/a> applied to the pulse points (wrists, solar plexus, neck and temples).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Roll-on oil-based perfumes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alcohol-based perfumes that are used in spray form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are different types of perfumes that you can make all varying in strength from <em>parfum<\/em> and <em>eau de parfum<\/em> to the most popular <em>eau de toilette<\/em>, and finally, <em>eau fraiche<\/em> which is used as a body spray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parfums are very strong smelling and highly concentrated essential oil formulas. You only need apply a few drops once a day and the smell will last for a very long time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"580\" src=\"https:\/\/www.schoolofnaturalskincare.com\/wp-content\/smush-webp\/2013\/10\/Natural-Perfume.jpg.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-120026\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.schoolofnaturalskincare.com\/wp-content\/smush-webp\/2013\/10\/Natural-Perfume.jpg.webp 640w, https:\/\/www.schoolofnaturalskincare.com\/wp-content\/smush-webp\/2013\/10\/Natural-Perfume-300x272.jpg.webp 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do you make natural perfumes?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To make 25ml you will need the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list bullet_check imglist\">\n<li>A 30ml perfume bottle or bottle with a spray top.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An apron and rubber gloves to ensure you don\u2019t get any of the ingredients on your skin and clothes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A glass measuring beaker that measures from 0-30ml.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kitchen roll\/tissues, table cloth and table mat \u2013 to ensure you don&#8217;t damage work surfaces.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>23.5ml of perfumers&#8217; alcohol (or you could use vodka).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1.5ml of essential oil (about 35 drops).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will also need to blend essential oils together to create your scent and to help you to do this you can either use my suggestions below and\/or refer to my earlier blog post <a title=\"How to create unique and beautiful essential oil blends\" href=\"\/how-to-create-unique-and-beautiful-essential-oil-blends\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Beginners Guide to Essential Oils \u2013 Part II \u2013 Blending Made Easy.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Instructions<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Measure out 23.5ml of perfumers&#8217;
